DIY; Body And Weight Loss Detox Drink- just in time for summer!

Detox-Blond1

Hey guys! A friend of mine came to me the other day and told me about this super easy detox/weight loss trick she has been doing for about 2 and a half weeks now.

Have you tried honey and cinnamon for detox/weight loss yet? While there’s no magic bullet for weight loss, it can be used in conjunction with a proper diet and exercise to accelerate the rate of weight loss and help you get past food cravings more quickly.

Me, well I’m such a skeptic sometimes, I don’t think anything works that fast or that easy. But I have to say she does look great! (And she is 15 lbs lighter) So, I thought I would try it and share it with all of you.

After all, There are millions of people who care about their body weight, especially women who are dreaming of losing weight quickly and easy. This can be very challenging for some, myself included.

I think all women and men, who are comfortable and confident in themselves are beautiful regardless. I don’t let a size or number define who I am. But, I am a blogger and my friend says it works so I’m doing my job and sharing.

Detoxification means removing poisons from your body. When the toxins are tucked inside your cells, they interfere with your cellular chemistry and decrease your body’s energy production.

I have been trying to eat healthier and work out, for my own health, myself, not for anyone else but me. And during this journey I have found that there are a lot of ingredients out there that mother nature gave us that accelerate detox/weight loss and help you burn more calories without having to make big sacrifices.

Have you tried honey and cinnamon for weight loss yet? While it’s no magic bullet for weight loss, it can be used in conjunction with a proper diet and exercise to accelerate the rate of weight loss and help you get past food cravings more quickly.

With 3 simple ingredients that you probably already have in your kitchen, you can make this detox drink and give it a try.

Ingredients:

  • 2 tablespoons of honey.
  • 1 teaspoon of cinnamon.
  • 8 oz of water.

Honey pot and dipper.

Preparation:

To prepare this recipe you have to mix the cinnamon with boiling water, then remove from heat and let cool.

To preserve the properties of honey that will help you lose weight, you have to add it when the drink is cold, never when the water is boiling. Once it cools down and you have added and mixed in your honey you can put it in the fridge until you are ready to drink it. (I put mine in an empty water bottle)

How to consume this drink?

Drink half of it just before going to sleep, and the other half in the morning when you wake up, on an empty stomach.

My friend claims that in just seven days you will see the results and be surprised and encouraged to continue your journey. Tonight is my first night trying this. I’m actually excited to test out this DIY detox drink she has been bragging about!

Honey alone has been shown to contain antioxidants and enzymes that have various healthy effects on the body. Findings on cinnamon are equally as promising, with research suggesting that it can do everything from boosting your metabolism to lowering your cholesterol. Combining the two creates a sort of Dynamic Duo and when taken at the start and end of your day has been proven (by my friend) to assist you in your weight loss goals.

These alone are reason enough to try this drink, and if it makes you drop the unwanted pounds, well that’s a bonus!

A miracle cure? Or a big fat lie? You be the judge. Give it a try and share your findings!
